In the latest post by NUCLR Golf, the fans could see the news struck the golf world like a thunderbolt. “LIV Golf’s Ian Poulter says he wants to be a Ryder Cup captain in the future,” read the caption.
The post further elaborated on what Poulter exactly said: “I’m hopeful one day there’s a sense of coming together that would enable the likes of myself… the opportunity to be able to become captain. Let’s see what happens; there’s going to need to be some compromise. I’m hopeful one day we’ll see it.” Yes, you read that right. According to Poulter, he envisions a day where ‘the likes of him’ mean other LIV golfers like Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm could be Ryder Cup captains.
