Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has been carrying the sports world this summer with her incredible play. With each game, she continues to draw in more and more viewers, and it’s no surprise considering her consistent and record-breaking performances in the WNBA.
But a huge announcement regarding Clark may be coming soon in the NASCAR world.
A recent photo emerged online of the ‘race eligible vehicle entry list’ for the upcoming 31st Annual Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The sponsor for the No. 4 vehicle driven by Josh Berry was listed as Panini and Clark.
The sponsor for NASCAR vehicles is usually represented as the car’s design. So fans may get to see the former Iowa Hawkeyes star as one of the main features on Berry’s vehicle during the July 21 race.
Although the vehicle’s design has not been officially released, there is reason to believe that it will indeed include Clark with Panini set to release its 2024 Caitlin Clark NIL Collection Trading Card Box in a few days.
The Brickyard 400 is a race that is part of the NASCAR Cup Series, the top racing series in the sport which consists of 38 total races. The winner of the series is the driver who receives the most points through all 38 races.
The upcoming race will feature legendary drivers such as Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, and many more.
Berry started his NASCAR Cup Series career in 2021. His best finish in the series was 43rd place in 2023, but he does have seven top-ten single-race finishes. His first official race came at the Iowa Speedway, which could be the connection between him and Clark.
