Caitlin Clark had another exceptional performance for the Indiana Fever on Friday night, but that doesn’t mean it was smooth sailing for the No. 1 pick.
In the late stages of the third quarter, fans noticed that Clark was dealing with some discomfort. It’s unclear if she was dealing with a migraine. That plagued her earlier this season.
That being said, WNBA fans called out the Fever for not properly managing Clark’s minutes on Friday.
“CC’s body language was a little off at the end of this quarter, i feel like she is having one of her headaches,” one fan wrote on X.
Another fan said, “I saw that too. I feel her pain. Migraines can be so debilitating.”
“She played 38 minutes by the way.. A player visibly showing signs of discomfort in a 20+ lead and coach fails to give her a break.. She didn’t even attempt a shot in the fourth.. There is the coach who doesn’t even care,” a third fan tweeted.
During last night’s game against the Mercury, Clark became the first WNBA rookie to have at least 400 points, 150 assists and 100 rebounds in a season.
While fans are certainly impressed by Clark’s production, they’re more concerned with her health. We hope she’s feeling OK.
