Rickie Fowler came back to professional golf after an absence of a couple of months to play in the Sanderson Farms Championship. Fowler has been aiming to play a few events in the FedEx Fall season after missing out on the playoffs; however, he might not be as prolific as he desired to be.
In the upcoming Black Desert Championship in Utah, Fowler will be absent from the competition. This was seen after his name was missing from the field of players announced by the PGA Tour. After making a comeback with new gear, it is still unclear how much golf Rickie Fowler will be seen playing for the rest of the year.

Fowler had previously said that the Sanderson Farms Championship would be something of a fresh start for him. He had planned to play the remainder of the fall and winter events to get ready for the next year.
His comeback seems to be going rather well. He does not need to play for his status in the PGA Tour next year, as he won the RBC Heritage last year. In the Sanderson Farms Championship, he currently sits T32 with an 8 under par, which is 7 shots behind the leader, Beau Hossler, at 15 under par.
In the ongoing Sanderson Farms Championship, Rickie Fowler will need to pull up his socks a little bit if he is to appear higher on the leaderboard. We know he has the talent; however, it is always a question of form. After shooting a 69 and a 67, it would seem his form is trending upwards. He does have to cut some mistakes from his game and avoid the water and three putts to climb the leaderboard.

Fowler has said that he enjoyed being at home and getting into a routine, which is hard to do while on Tour. He also said he enjoyed spending time with his family, which has now extended after his second daughter, Nellie’s birth in August.

He has also been trying to improve his game to come back to regularly playing pro golf. But he leaped in an area away from the golf course too; he has confessed to taking his cooking game to the next level. His gastronomic arsenal now includes cooking briskets as well as accompaniments such as cornbread and coleslaw. It surely sounds like he is still eager to make a difference, whether it is at home or on the course.
